I know what you meannnnn. It’s not that the relationship is bad for her father, it just doesn’t feel fully built up yet. Some moments feel a little forced, which makes it harder to feel invested in the story and same i would love to see more focus on Leo journey, her growth, and possibly her love life before the story goes deeper into her dads romance life
