We are experiencing a long ass flashback when they are in middle school.In present,Xixi is in college and Jian Yi in highschool.Read again in order to understand better. :)
Flashback starts on chapter 51, 161 lets you know they are not yet in HS, and the first 50 chapters (mixed with artwork) focuses on older/future Zhan/Jian (no He Tian/Mo since they didn't exist at the time). I also recommend a reread. I've done it a few times. Since chapters are short it doesn't take long. (=・ω・=)

so if the flashback starts on chapter 51, on the ch.49 let us know that the two are not dating, so it means that jian yi will be rejected :<
It could be he gets rejected.
Or Zhan may tell him to wait and when he is finally ready to respond it's too late cause Jian is kidnapped again.
These are just theories nobody take them seriously. Take with a grain of salt. :V
Are we still in the flashbacks? Or is this what they are experiencing currently?
