I was sooo excited to read the new chapter until I saw half of it was about the bald headed dude no one cares about. We got like five scenes of Satomi, and that was it… WRAP IT UP WITH THE SIDE CHARACTERS PLEASE

They’re so mind numbingly BORING. Like brooo I just want to see romance between Kyouji and Satomi
The manga isn't entirely based off their relationship keep in mind it's a comedy coming of age manga and if you can't enjoy the side characters stories then it's not really for you
I compared this mainly to karaoke iko, that managed to balance both Kyouji and Satomi while including a few side characters. But those characters never took the show. When I saw that this was a sequel, I wanted it to be like the original. I wouldn’t have minded too much if all the characters were funny and interesting but most seem pointless or down right boring to read about. I still enjoy this manga and the development of the story but it’s definitely inferior to Karaoke iko. Ngl, I think the author just lost the plot and wanted to drag out the inevitable…
Different opinions I guess. But if you read other works of the author you'll notice some pattern it's just her style
We could cut half of this manga and remove half of the irrelevant side characters. Like we’re not reading this to find out about the bald dude, Satomi’s weird coworkers, or that girl who looks a bit creepy. Next chapter better be all about Kyouji and Satomi because we have been ROBBED of more moments between them. Don’t get me wrong, manga is fun but I’m not reading this for bum ass side characters, especially not this chapter.
