just bc he cant help losing his memories doesnt make him a good father. he abandoned her several times and left her for dead, neglecting her and shunning her away. whether he believes it or not, he is still her father and she has the right to be upset that her father refuses to see her as a daughter, lost memories or not. regardless of his condition, at the end of the day, she was still hurt bc of his inaction, so I think its reasonable for her to hold a grudge
But how can you be a good father to a child you don't remember having?, yeah she can be upset but i just think its kind of odd to hold a grudge over something he cant control especially if his illness is that he forgets everything he loves that just makes him the pitiful one not her and her multiple lives should give her some type of sense to know he couldn't control it( ̄∇ ̄")
Can you say that again to all patient who have severe alzheimer. It's also pretty stupid that you blame someone who don't know you exists. Too dumb much that you forgot he can't forcefully remember things and he have selective memory which are bad things, including assassination, mistreatment, fake identification, and trying to manipulate him.
Gosh I really hate it when people are getting dumber despite reading various books.
Actually, it's not exactly blame but some form of resentment. As someone who did have a once close relative who developed alzheimer once they got older, it is shocking to realize that you're starting to feel anger and avoidance towards the patient due to the feeling of betrayal since they cannot remember you. It starts to feel more hurtful than comforting to see a person who denies your existence and pushes you away despite what you know about them and what you share with them. In this case, although the MC is not that young mentally, but there are different situations that once made her feel resentful due to the lack of presence of her parents, and especially since she knows her father is alive. Later in the novel, it details further the complex emotions the MC holds for him. So I suggest you all just wait a bit because these are only 20 chaps and some things will be explored further along the way. Stick around guyss, don't get annoyed too much !!
ur calling me dumb but u cant even form coherent sentences I was going to leave this thread alone bc agree to disagree, this is a nuanced topic that has many factors to consider, but now ur insulting me as a person and my intelligence and that's just not cool. unlike u, I can sympathize with mc, her feelings are still valid regardless of what condition her father is under. yes, it is not his fault that he can't remember that she is his daughter, but that doesnt mean she isnt allowed to resent the situation. having an absentee father, especially one that refuses to acknowledge ur existence (even when u and other ppl telling him that u r his daughter), WILL HURT. he left her for dead several times, that is bound to form some sort of resentment and hurt, regardless of the situation. if u actually read the manwha, she literally says she knows its not his fault for not remembering, but that doesnt erase the times she needed a father, but got a cold back instead. like jnaxxx said, its a complex situation that requires us to LISTEN and THINK. so just sit down and get ur ass off ur high horse.
Well not everyone prioritized English. It's a universal language but not that important to measure someone's ability to think.
And thank God you admit you're just projecting. You sympathize with the MC and stopped using your brain coz of your hate to your parent who neglected you. She have every rights to avoid and hate him, out of fear to the pain she experienced and will experience again if she interact with her father. Still, for you to just blame him and stop considering the circumstances he's in is plain stupidity.
So, yes, YOU are STUPID with many more issues in life. Lol
I know that, I also have a grandma who suffers with alzheimer. It is painful at the same time annoying that you can't avoid to feel other negative things.
MC have every rights to not want him in her life. That doesn't mean though that people should be an idiot and just blame his situation for not being able to help her.
Imagine blaming someone who genuinely can't remember things, and keep forgetting it.
I admit the story is actually kind of confusing due to how complex the situation of their sickness. They should at least consider that it was mentioned in her dialogue that he forgets everything about his family. He also keeps forgetting her everytime there's a love forming between father and daughter rs, and the part when he admitted that he remembers people trying to manipulate him by pushing that a child is his own and the procedure or rules in their house.

Why're people blaming dad when he literally cannot remember having her or his wife and why is she blaming him when she knows that and wasn't she an adult?, all those lives and you still holding a grudge.
