Spoiler take with a grain of salt

Based off Mtl raws so could be wrong take with a grain of salt

TLDR: Yarun was a human saved by Fenrir and as a result became a demon. The current story is an alternative time line Fenrir created by reversing time for Yarun

. Basically in the original time line as a kid Yarun falls into the lake during the dead of winter and is saved by Fenrir but is kept in a void alive. After leaving the void he returns to find that is his family is gone and he is has been dead for years and no longer a kid. Yarun is chased out of the village and finds himself in the grand duke dukedom. He ends up in the grand duke care, during which Yarun realizes he is no longer human during that time Fenrir also stays by his side mimicking the grand duke. As Yarun and the dukes builds more a relationship Yarun confesses to the duke that he is no longer human (not actually sure what he told) and the grand duke locks him up in a room in a tower and is extremely obsessed with him.

His aunt:
First timeline
Yarun runs off after having a fight his aunt watches this happen. She becomes a knight and later gets killed by a monster.
Second timeline:
Leaves to work as a maid for the duke to afford an education for Yarun. However she remembers the first timeline and knows what happens to Yarun and that he didn’t die. However she realizes that the dukes obsession with Yarun in the first timeline happens due to him seeing a painting of Yarun and tries to stop him from seeing however she fails leading to him having that ugly ass drawing of Yarun.
As she tries to leave the castle she unknowingly catches the attention of the duke’s father (idk if he too remembers but her eyes trigger his curiosity or something) He starts taking her blood idk for what. But later she escapes with the help of ordin the duke as a kid. However as she flees on a wagon the monster that killed in the first timeline too remembers and comes after her. To prevent it from killing the driver she jumps off and tries to fight but ends up devoured.

After Yarun dies or whatever happens the world is sent into an eternal winter I don’t know if Fenrir caused can’t tell and then he rewinds time creating an alternative timeline where Yarun is with his mother until she dies.

So some people do remember the original timeline but think of it as dream or something else. Fenrir (obviously), ordin the duke, Maltese, the knight commander (has dreams can’t remember his dude who guards Fenrir in the basement ) and later Yarun remember their first life or the original timeline.

Fenrir and Yarun leave to his village after fleeing Ordin. Everyone wants to kill Fenrir to stop an eternal winter from happening like in the first timeline. While in the village the demon that killed his aunt is attacking the village. After everyone is done fighting Ordin attacks Fenrir and the commander fucking dumbass son comes up and stabs Yarun cuz he saw him lose his hand after touching a demon killing weapon and thinks he is demon.

For one final time Fenrir saves Yarun by giving up his life. Yarun wakes up 4 months later at the Ordin’s house in summer and no Fenrir.

Now this is where I’m fucking lost:

*In the original timeline after Yarun is dies the world falls into the eternal winter caused by Fenrir it seems that people use hybrids to try and seal Fenrir away. (In this timeline hybrids aren’t seen living amongst the dukedom like now).
