Same!!! I love this genre but what you are pointing out is one of the most annoying things about MCs and when they change things or go against the plot and expect everyone to just stay the same.
It legit hurts me every single time bcos i get so invested and then they do stuff like that and i lose all interest
I really thought this was going to be good but like every single story like this, they always get obsessed with the original plot line and be like 'this didnt happen in the original story' LIKE GIRL YOU ALREADY RUINED THE ORIGINAL STORY?????? WTF ARE YOU EXPECTING !!!! its unbelievably frustrating bcos they always make them out to be so gd smart but then overlook the fact that the moment that they deviated from the main plot line, things have already changed!!!!!!!!!! Like it always feel like they're(the mc) the one's pushing the story plotline onto others, ignoring the fact that their entire personality(as in the mc) has changed from the original, and then be like shocker they didnt stick to the script like normal! Ofc not????? They're real ppl, with real feelings, of course things are going to change and people are going to act differently if you do!!
