If you ever want to watch a batshit anime where they see wild shit when they eat food, give yakitate japan! a try. I heard that in the manga’s later chapters, there’s literally bread that turns people into animals permanently— it’s like food wars but about bread and without the fan service lol
Yeah I have no idea wtf that anime was going through but it was funny as fuck XD a lot of the screenshots from the anime hall of fame are actually from that series lol. (Like the “moo means moo” translator’s note and the “throw away your common sense and get an Afro!” scene with the nun.)
Rewatching the anime of this and came to check out the manga to see if there’s more but that’s it I really hate how they always cut the story or just add a little bit of it when they become older and such, MHA AND THIS!!
Anyways its 2026 and this still tops any culinary anime I watch, I tried something else but would always ended up to foods wars, even though their sound and animation is exaggerated, it is still sooo good. But now I do think that because of its uniqueness is why this is so different from the others
And after reading/rewatching it, I realized - This could have been a harem of erina if only Sōma didn’t appear lol.Erina has a way to make everyone fall for her WAHAHAHAHA
