I understand what you're saying but you have to look at it from her pov she just got out of a bad relationship and is insecure not to mention when they first met he came off as a player she doesn't know what we know about him like how the whole reason they were FwB was because he wanted to date her, so her reaction was yes a little over the top but valid
i can see where you are coming from but i still disagree. one of the biggest reasons her last relationship didn’t work out was because she was so insecure about herself and didn’t let herself fully open up to her partner, and that is still something that she has yet to overcome. i get that she doesn’t know everything that we know but he has told her and shown her that he’s only interested in her. she *wants* to believe that he’s a player when he has told her many times he’s not. she knows that he has only been in a relationship with her and that the only reason why he was bringing the treats to work was for her, she just refuses to believe that he’s not lying to her. i get she has trauma from a last relationship, but at the end of the day the ml himself has never treated her wrong and she has been shown that. and i get that the author is going for a miscommunication trope, but she didn’t even give him a chance to explain. this entire situation is on her being insecure about herself and looking for any reason to prove he’s been lying
No I get that completely actually my only actual problem is how many people are just making it seem like she's a crazy bitch for her reaction all together you are actually one of the few people that haven't made it seem that way
We can all agree that the misunderstanding topic is very overused but she's not crazy for how she was feeling and that's what I hate, people were saying she was a bitch for telling her family she was going to break up with him and that's honestly my problem
i wouldn’t call her a bitch at all and i agree with you. i just think that she has a lot of work that she needs to do on herself. i can give her some grace cause i get that she was already frustrated and overwhelmed from the hike that she didn’t even want to do (i would be too) and she did literally pass out. so i’ll give her some grace but she’s way too old to have this level of bad communication. i would have expected this situation from a high school story, not one where the main characters are adults
One hundred percent honesty I do think she's too old for most of how she was but just not completely like her crying that night was normal I know a lot of people that would do the same and people are acting like people in real life wouldn't crying like she did if the saw those pictures those photos were not normal for friends or family to take yes she should have talked to him to figure everything out but it doesn't make her a bitch just because she cried and told her family she wanted to break up with him

See this is how I was hoping people would react instead of how so many are treating her in the comments you actually understand what happened they are only reading from our pov without out taking her pov into play and it's so annoying, you don't have to like how she handled it but making it seem like she was completely crazy was where I was getting annoyed in real life anyone who was already insecure would have acted like her and thank you for being so nice when you responded alot of people were being plain rude and disrespectful for no reason
the main issue with her is that she’s so insecure about herself and that’s pouring out into her relationship. the ml has been a good boyfriend to her so far and he actually hasn’t given her any reason to doubt him, the problem is that she thinks that a guy like him is “too out of her league” so she’s going to jump to any conclusion that he isn’t actually interested in her when he genuinely is. yeah the post itself could give off the impression that they are in a relationship, but if you actually look at her and her eyes they are most likely siblings or even twins.
