i dunno if it was just me?? or because of a recent convo with my dad thats still in my head but i am kinda turned off from liking the emperor after hearing the flash back.. i feel like the empress was sort of forced/guilted into marriage... i don't really get the feeling she likes him since their chemistry on screen isn't there. perhaps its because since they’re just side characters to the romance? if there is a novel is their chemistry more clear? i would like some input kindly stated if anyone noticed it too or if they can clear up what im saying.
