In the last chapter he got a text from her phone but the vibe was off
The way the text from her was written wasn’t how she’d talk to him
Also because the bodyguard guy wa supposed to be with her, but he was tricked and ended up still being at the party/event thing.
Tae-ha was also chosen over his brother to attend, he knew his brother was snooping around, and that he'd be especially pissed not being picked, so tonight was the perfect night for something to happen. That, paired with Na-Haesoo's odd text and the body guard (Jayce?) usually being on his A game, but then tonight of all nights he messes up?
Tae-ha also pretty much knows/understands Na-Hasoo better than she does, that's how he was able to manipulate his way in and hit all of her weak points. He knows how she normally acts, and he (usually) knows what her intentions are, even when she doesn't convey it clearly.
Went back to double check, but Tae-ha tells Na-Hasoo to KEEP messaging him even though he won't be able to answer. She only texts "yeah" after he asked if she made it home. Na-Haesoo is the type to listen, if he asked her to continue to text him throughout the night then she would have sent him more than that dry answer.
