They are not brothers to each other gosh NO their relationship is deeper than that. They've been together for century after century. The author said they're more than lovers but deeper than family. So they're basically something literally beyond any form of relationship (it's fine if you view them as lovers because in a sense they love and hold each other so dearly and deeply it can be seen as love)

Yeah I don't care about the canon, they fucking in my head. What the fuck do you mean they BROTHERS??? I am going to crash out. I love you author but why do you make such "brothers" who seem to be in love with each other(i need to stop reading BL before I am incapable of accepting any relationship between two men other than lovers with the only exception being blood relatives)
