Suahs 'love' is such a nothingburger. As much as we're meant to believe Suah loves Juhyeok oh so deeply, he really doesn't care about Juhyeok's well being beyond satisfying his own feelings or getting what he wants. Whether he ruins Juhyeok's health, his body, his career (that he knows means so much to him) or even SA's him (when Juhyeok clearly tells him to leave before he barges in and even during the entire act tells him to stop, etc.) none of it seems to matter at all to Suah as long as he gets to satisfy his own feelings. And yeah, all of it is framed in flowery sparkly panels, but if you really love someone, why would you ever do any of this to them?? Ruining their health and body, SAing them and putting them at risk of being SAed by others (because of his heat/pheromones), putting their one and only passion that they worked their ass off for all their life in gepardy, and for what? He puts his own feelings above the well being of the person he supposedly loves, all the while not even hesitating to be the REASON for their health and career being destroyed/in gepardy, just so he can feel better about his little crush... How is that romantic? I don't even know what kind of improvement I'm hoping for at this point.

While I agree woth your point, we can't really put all the blame to just one guy. Both of them are toxic towards each other, and they both prioritize their own selves and use each other for their own needs/wants. Sure, it was Suah who started doing that, but Juhyeok was just as bad for doing this to Suah just because he knows he's everything for him. Also, we all know that Juhyeok was the one who extremely liked Suah when they were kids. He's the one who promised 'marriage' as kids, he just can't accept the fact that he became the omega in the relationship and did all the hurtful things he could do to Suah when in fact, Suah also suffered just as much because he also unexpectedly became an alpha which he also didn't like. This series would definitely be one of those that are mostly toxic, but you should look at all the sides of the story before pinning the blame on just one person.

"They both use each other" Juhyeok would have never even needed to use Suah if it wasn't for Suah ruining his body in the first place. Juhyeok was not interested in Suah, he just went on with his life and trying to achieve his dreams, up until he found out Suah had been scenting him without his knowledge or consent the entire time and now his body has gotten fucked up to the point where he LITERALLY cannot live his day to day life without Suah's pheromones. Clearly, he doesn't feel comfortable having to be scented by Suah (as is very obvious but also stated by Suah himself). He doesn't want this, he didn't want any of it. I reiterate, had it not been for Suah's actions, Juhyeok would've never had these issues in the first place. He would've gone on with his life just as he always has, with his body perfectly intact. He would've never even had to interact with Suah, much less be scented by him (which again, he obviously feels incredibly uncomfortable with, hoping it'll be over soon, etc. in the first place). Also, could I remind you that Suah SAed Juhyeok only a few chapters ago? Cause how did we somehow move past that and go "oh yeah they're equally bad". In what universe would Juhyeok be 'just as bad'? Next, addressing the marriage promise you bring up. A childish promise from a little kid is absolutely NOT comparable to the actions of a grown ass man, are we deadass. You are not owed someone's feelings nor affection just because you happen to like them, much less after you destroy their health and SA them. You say they are 'equally toxic'. In this case, even if Juhyeok HAD been some vindictive, manipulative person instead of a person who had their body altered without their consent and now has to find some way to even be able to function on the most basic level and live his life (which unfortunately in his case, means having to be in uncomfortable situations with the same man who did this to him in the first place), how the hell is that comparable to a rapist?? I hope you know the "I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at animal cruelty!" "...You can excuse racism??" meme because genuinely this is what these comments sound like to me. It's insane how easily SA is brushed aside or straight up downplayed in the BL community, I don't even know what to say tbh.

TRUTH NUKE!! The reality is it's only because some of these people just cannot put their coochie aside and stop thirsting for a second long enough to see that the dude is literally a rapey creep. As long as he looks hot/cute/whatever the fuck else, everything he does can be excused and anyone who speaks against him deserves to be executed via firing squad. Can we please think with our heads instead of whatever is between our legs? He SAED HIM A MERE FEW CHAPTERS AGO. On the other hand, a bottom who they label as 'aggressive', 'stubborn', 'annoying', 'weak', or whatever else they don't like should be tortured medieval style because.. Well, really it's because he doesn't make their coochie throb It's genuinely crazy out here.

I guess you're just going to completely gloss over my comment and the fact that JH was the first one to act violently towards Suah when they were kids just because he found out he was an omega. Suah didn't even have the courage and the chance to tell him that he was also suffering from the unexpected change in their genders because JH went all aggressive towards Suah when he was just trying to cheer him up. Take note, Suah was also very heartbroken at the time over the fact that he came also out as an alpha instead of an omega. Also, if you've been together since you were kids and the person who was always close to you and who you were depending on and who you are expecting to be by your side during such vulnerable and hurting moments suddenly turned 180 like over a couple of days as a kid, you won't get it. You'll get hurt. You'll make bad decisions.

If you took enough time to read my first comment and my comment now, I never said, and will never say, that what Suah did was okay, I was saying that it's not right to just look at one side of things. Heck I even said they're being toxic towards each other because it's true.

Lastly, it's kind of immature to rant about things and get aggressive towards real people just because of some manhwa characters. We can always share our opinions and discuss them in a civil manner without disrespecting others. My first comment was never meant to be argumentative, I was agreeing, adding, and sharing my own thoughts about the story and thd og comment. I hope you read until here, but if you didn't, that's okay too.

Idk if you enjoy those kinds of plot but I don't. I never even read or I have stopped reading midway if the story is of such kind. What I usually do is read the manhwa/manga, try to understand the plot, see if I will like the characters, and check if the author's values (applied in the story) coincides with mine. I try to give the story a chance, and drop them if there's no sign of getting better. Your comment, though, seems like you've been reading (or have read) a lot of those types of stories, that's why you're so used to it and you're quick to judge. Maybe because you already recognize the pattern from reading a lot of it? I hope you find a good one, skip those kinds, and stop reading something that you don't enjoy such as this one.

What I'm saying is there is no way I'm gonna sit here and ago "Ah yes, he had a fight with his childhood best friend so it makes sense that he would then stalk him for years, scent him, resulting in ruining his well being and then procceeding to SA him!". That's exactly what it is when you talk about 'understanding both sides' when there are no two reasonable sides to be understood here!! One is a normal man trying to live his life and the other is his neighbor stalking and scenting him when he had made it clear he wants nothing to do with him. A sad sob story from childhood would never make anything like this understandable, but even more so something so irrelevant?? Like even if you wanted to go the "but he's so traumatized

Again, I already said in my og reply to your og comment that I agree with your point. It means that I agree with everything you said in your og comment but I was adding something to it. That means that I agree that people should stop glazing Suah and that Suah scenting him and sexually assaulting him is an unforgivable thing, but I was explaining that all of this happened due to a huge emotional and probably even mental impact they both experienced when they were younger. Again, definitely a huge no-no to SA. I was saying that you have to see both sides because it isn't only Joohyeok who needs help, Suah too. And it's true that they are both toxic. Not only Suah. Because if you are trying to put logic and realism in this story, if JH really disliked it and if he wanted to, he could have simply reported Suah to the authorities and there will be evidences of the assault. End of the story. See? When you try to put logic and realism and don't try to see the story as it is, you won't get anything from a work like this. Simply put, they're just characters and we should just enjoy what we have. If you don't enjoy this type of plot, move on and don't stress over it.

Don’t understate OP’s opinion. It’s so backhanded that you use the ‘don’t like, don’t read’ logic when it comes to consumption, we are all entitled to our own personal interpretation of the media we consume. You claim to not be argumentative but you turn up with micro aggression and passive aggressiveness, saying to OP “don’t stress about it.” When their interpretation of the story is different from yours. Aren’t you the one also stressing about this when you’re so insistent on defending your own argument? Thats hypocritical. Get off this high horse you’ve sat yourself on.

Right, right. My apologies for making it seem like I'm trying to understate an opinion or being argumentative about this. Not that I'm stressing or something, but they take the time to reply so I found it natural that I reply back as I would have found it rude if I was talking to someone and they won't respond. Didn't think this would make me seem more aggressive. I didn't mean to do that or make OP feel like that. Thank you for rebuking me. I think I will end my replies here so we can keep our own interpretations and opinions to ourselves. I do hope people find a plot they genuinely enjoy reading as this seems like a complex one which may garner hate a lot. I do appreciate OP and you for the replies though. Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.

I won't reply to anything from this point forward but "if JH really disliked it, he could've just reported it to the authorities"... I'm at a loss for words. 92% of SA victims do not report their sexual assault. When they do work up the courage, perhaps even years later, they are told the exact same thing YOU just said. "Well if you really disliked it so much, why didn't you just report it? Seems like you must not have minded all that much then". I've mostly put up with your ignorance but this is beyond enraging. You claim not to excuse the SA yet throughout every comment you've only used the rhetoric of a rapist apologist and victim blamer. I sincerely hope you gain empathy and speaking of consumption, perhaps stop consuming so many 'romance' stories

*so many 'romance' stories addled with rape. You've already learned to brush off and excuse rape in any way possible, repeating the same rhetoric used in defense of rape. I'm beyond disgusted, but more than anything I hope you learn the severity of what SA actually is and the impacts of it. You're desensitized. To all the wrong things. Have a nice day.
