read the novel, and you might get an idea. The manhwa changed her character to seem more evil. also, realistically, would you rather stay a slave getting s*xually assaulted and impregnated by your captor or try to escape to a more powerful (where not many people are more powerful than your captor) man who fell for you to live a better life, regardless of the fact he is married.

ofc people are defending Rashta, the cheater got off with a slap on the wrist even though he chose to cheat. Rashta, as shown by the novel and its side stories, would have been very happy becoming a servant for the empress instead, and adored her. for example, in this manhwa where rashta went to greet the empress, she had a smirk on her face and shit. in the novel, she was in a wheelchair and genuinely trying to show respect. after that things went downhill.

was it still distasteful what she did? yes, but Rashta was stuck a slave and nobody seems to consider her actions were shaped by the hell she went through. she deserves more defense than any noble here. for them, it was marriage. for her, this was survival.

Obviously I’m talking about the manwha. I truly hate both of them, and of course if I was her I would try to get a better life but how she was portrayed was hella annoying. Let’s not talk about the emperor I fucking hate him. Sorry all this bla-bla just to repeat myself but in the manwha there is no way I would feel sorry for her
