After reading the manhwa, i went and read the novel from the beginning- and honestly the manhwa feels like a cvmbucket show. Using a completely beautiful story to almost riddled with noncon with completely rearranged and missing tidbits that in my opinion was crucial in showing their affection. Many times ive cried over the novel, it was beautifully written from start to finish. blonde didn’t even kiss him at all he was just exactly like an awkward pubescent boy in love. There were no random kissing, making out, heck the only smidge we get to that and more is only in the last few chapters even then their “first time” ( as stated by them) wasn’t even a good memory for both. They acknowledged that it was a medical procedure used in desperation so yoonmin could live, they even showed this as a struggle for them to move forward as a couple because they both knew how painful that memory was. And the issue with woojo hyung, yoonmin saw him as a benefactor, someone he wanted to protect while he sees yeogyeong as his one and only. During the last bits, you can read his pov and he speaks how his feelings progressed- with him initially being conflicted why he feels the way he does for yepgyoong to realizing his feelings and clearly distinguishing what woojo hyung and yeogyoong symbolize in his life. Anyways this was a bit of a rant cuz i never thought the novel was this drastically different from the manhwa, i wish they stayed true to the novel because the art is genuinely to my liking, and the story deserves a great pedestal for its writing
