sigh, it’s getting quite obvious that Kaidel’s the ML. not that it’s a bad thing or anything, he’s a nice guy so far—misunderstood and has flaws sure, but it’s clear he means well. I guess I just prefer Ellen’s dynamic with the crown prince more. Their letters to each other were really fun to read, it was nice to see them being comfortably talking/teasing each other despite the difference in status and personality. And even though I already got a feeling early on that Kaidel would be the ML, I still held hope for the crown prince route because there was potential and they actually were getting close damn it! Hilde’s addition to the story was great and I love that for Dwight and all, but her forcing Izmel to be her banquet partner that day really pushed my ship down the drain bruh! Σ( ￣□￣||)
