After Elma surrendered herself saying she was the mastermind of the "assassination" plan, people began to rush in the cell — including the Prince, Queen, and maid — and defended her saying she was too kind and definitely did not planned this, even saying that the Marquis threatened her to say it. Eventually, the prince, Felix, did not send her to prison causing her to be dumbfounded. She was thinking she failed the "be normal" and was shocked, Lucas removed her glasses and looked at her expression and said that behind those glasses we're the face of a normal girl — she's normal, and she has emotions just like how a "normal" girl has.
She became happy again and told herself the mission was successful and so convinced them to put her in prison — nope, they did not. The Marquis was put in the prison.
Meanwhile, in the prison, Lust (Father) told Wrath and Jealousy that it is not Elma going back but the Marquis. The paper he held contains the full-on story of Elma of how she became a hero. Wrath said she won the bet and Jealousy was confused of what she meant, wrath said that the bet was for Elma to experience the world outside using the "be normal" excuse for her. Wrath looked at Lust and nodded, Lust was shocked and not expecting for her to do this, jealousy was very confused of what is happening. To sum it all, the bet was; if Elma (pride) completed the mission wrath would accept lust's 15 year old proposal.
