Forgot the name

There was this story, i dont remember much about it. It was black and white. Main character was student and he found i think 2 friends. It was psychological and super sad. Mcs father was from his pov extremely scary, he was super manipulative and mc was scared fo him. To other the looked like proper older man with glasses. Mc and his friends had to go trough lot of troubles. In the end it looked all fine. But after time skip it all returned to the start. And they all turned back to their sad selves and nothing got ever solved.
