i mean valid, because if i was in the situation, i’d be really hurt too. i hate cheating in that type of betrayal of a close friend, but imo that’s lowkey what makes the tension better in this situation with underlying attraction and infatuation.
esp with their highschool days and jin-ahs slight reliance on jina as her only friend, one that she began to admire. plus her gradual pull away when she got a bf, paired with jina’s jealousy… it makes it so much better when you KNOW they had a close relationship with a dynamic of being the opposing individuals “person.”
and that fell apart (in what i assume) to be an act of jina (that is hella jealous of jin-ah’s bf) where she projects it in kissing him, aka taking away the problem between them. it’s toxic for sure, but it adds some satisfying sort of depth.
Am I the only one hating on these stories. It's compelling it is addictive and well-drawn however I am too vindictive to let go off the hate. Even when they are happy together i still hold on to the grudge. Unfortunately I am petty I can't understand the love between these two characters. But I love a good love-hate scenery. I am hopeless I was just venting here.
