Yea that was the whole reason they wanted to leave, because they knew that the academy was dangerous and sending mc to his death.. Plus they keep the callers away from the core to have control over them
your comment made me binge read it yesterday, i slept til 6AM lmao. ive always been interested in that couple i didnt even think they have their separate story. i read radio storm like 3 years ago and i always come back to it. to answer your question, it seems like the same world, but before the disaster, they look much older in radio storm. even in moritats they look foolish and young, the MC doesnt seem all satisfied with his mother's decisions but he kinda just accepts it and becomes evil himself, working in the academy's elite.
Do this and Moritat take place in the same universe? If so, which happens first? I haven’t read Moritat, so I’m not sure how the two main characters are portrayed there, but in this story I rly dislike how they’re clearly on the side of the elites who exploit the poor and powerless as they please without any consequences. If anything the academy is the true evil in all of this smh
