from what I understand, besides hyeo jinah wanting kim jinah to realize that her boyfriend isn't exactly what she pictures him to be, she actually wanted kim jinah for herself but probably didnt know how to express that in a healthy way since they were still both immature (hyeo jinah) and naive (kim jinah).
in my theory, its hyeo jinah that fell for kim jinah first back in highschool but again she was just too immature and most likely had comphet to realize it back then!
