Personally I really don't think he is a normal human like that you know, my theory is that he was a lab baby whose sole purpose of being made was to form this whatever society his master wishes to see, he was programmed to commit indiscriminate violence which would make sense about his utter lack of knowledge about normal human etiquette and customs, it feels like he is trying to mimic a human rather then him being one

I think it is possible the mc is an unreliable narrator in that sense but hopefully we get to see in s2

i think the trope of 'he doesnt know any better cause he grew up in the apocalypse without any adult supervision so the MC has to teach him about humanity' could have worked quite well and i was really into it in the beginning! then there was the sick kid's father, the doctor and more than anything the MC's father.
I see no relationship between them if he killed his father at the beginning i gaslit myaelf into thinking the MC had killed his own father but in the end he remembered so there goes the redemption ig
