The opening song for this game goes too hard for a plot like this (though I can understand why this was so popular back in '06)
I understand there's an audience who like this stuff, and sure whatever, but I.. can't understand anything? Megane's reasoning to getting the guy he wanted to be equal with to look at him was to rape him??? I understand before Katsuya was being used by Midou for sexual services but like... you don't fight fire with fire?? I know he's self conscious but being a doormat is WAYY better than being a rapist. I don't understand why he keeps choosing to wear the glasses even when it hurts the people Katsuya supposedly wants to be close to. Even if he can't remember everything, he's still partly aware of what he does when the glasses are on. (So Katsuya, wtf??) Everything is lost on me It doesn't help that this is just every single route with Megane.
Midou is right, a LOT of issues could be solved if Megane just put his dick away and talked things out. Even so, I feel like they're both in the wrong. There is no love here, just layers of Stockholm syndrome built on top of each other.
