For real. Maybe it’s the older sister in me as well but I can’t stand his family lol. I get it, they’re kids and they’ve suffered so much loss too but the difference between them and Asil is they have the luxury to pick themselves. They have no one else reliant on them. Asil’s whole life purpose is to keep his family afloat and together. Of course his siblings have the right to pick their own life but the lack of compassion to Asil and his effort is so brutal to witness. I’m sure they know Asil basically is alive for them and the guilt of that must be heavy burden but the least you can do is be there when he needs you. Sorry this is just a rant lol

So many comments here are dedicated to the , but I want to bring up the topic of his family. As the eldest daughter, I understand perfectly the burden and colossal responsibility Asil bears. However, I am deeply outraged by the fact that his family takes this as a matter of course, as his sacred duty. Meanwhile, they themselves provide him with virtually no help.
The situation with his sister is especially devastating. After the war, instead of searching for her brothers and trying to reunite the family, she became close to the first person she met. she essentially handed him over to a grapist ( in the beginning, she was the one who seemed closest to her brother).
Some might argue: relatives have a right to a private life too, they are living people, and anyway, "no one asked Asil to look after them so much and sacrifice himself."
But still you can't simply reap the benefits of someone else's sacrifice, live in the security another person provided at the cost of their own happiness, and then cynically declare, "I didn't ask you to do this." That's pure selfishness and childishness. When a family depends on one person, the least they can do in return is show gratitude and loyalty, not stab someone in the back(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Asil deserved support, but he became simply a convenient tool for his own family.
In this manhwa, it's Asil who I feel most sorry for. ╥﹏╥
