I sorta agree with you. Like I like reading yaoi and shounen ai and all that, but I do dislike seeing straight guys getting shipped together, just because of their close friendship. But idk sometimes I'll let doujins slide in that I'll just ignore them? I'll admit though, when I find one of a characters I adore for their friendship, I get pretty annoyed. But what I REALLY hate, is when people insist that the ship is canon, and basically erase all friendship from the original series. Like, platonic love is real??? I guess I feel that way also because I personally love platonic friendships over romantic ones.
the thing i dont understand is why do you hate other people shipping the cjaracter they like .they can like whatever and ship their character why do people have to hate what other people like to do i dont understand .i dont personally like doujin and i hate when people ship characters it makes so much difference.let them like or love their character doujin are for those who like to ship characters.you hate it its fine i can understand why would you hate other people liking it it is not fair.
No no it's fine if you ship it. I guess I wasn't clear. What I hate is when they erase THE ORIGINAL SHIP or OTHER SHIPS. Basically, people who ship guyxguy and don't respect people who ship guyxgirl is what I meant. Like they'll insist the characters are ACTUALLY gay, as opposed to having a good friendship. And they'll hate anyone who ships the characters with girls instead. Because, yeah, otherwise I don't care what people do. Like for example, there's one story about a guy who becomes friends with another gloomy guy when he was a kid. He introduces the gloomy guy to his own friends, one of which was a girl who liked the MC. Later in the story, when they are all adults, the MC finds out the gloomy guy's in trouble, and he tries to find out how to save him. Meanwhile, he also starts liking the girl he was friends with. He manages to save his guy friend at the end of the story, and he marries the girl. But people insist that the MC and the guy are actually meant to be, and they hate on the girl for no reason. That's all I meant when I said I hate people insisting the guy x guy ship is canon. Because they're erasing a good friendship from the story, and acting like the girl is a terrible character

Oh haha, it wasn't really a story per se. I was very loosely describing the plot of a video game called Tales of Graces f. It's got a manga adaptation, but unfortunately no one has translated it yet.
i think i am the only fujoshi who NEVER SHIP ANY STRAIGHT GUYS TOGETHER.i i hate all doujinshi and i feel like those who create them have ZERO respect for the characters.
-there is a very thick line between friendship and love ,and i really would love if more appreciate that
