Yes you have to paste that link in the wayback machine. The link I gave was the ACTUAL link to the translated ver. But since the translated ver got deleted, you can’t enter it anymore.

Fixed info: So actually, the Portuguese scanlation group doesn’t have a separate website for novel translations. It’s just that if you scroll down on their manhwa website (fbsquadx.com) then there’s a filter section similar to mangago’s. And most importantly: there's a novel filter option.
(This was where I made my mistake in the og post. Since I couldn't enter the link, I falsely assumed fbsquads.com [the scanlation name in the dead link I gave] was an entirely new website specifically for the scanlation group's novel translations, separate from fbsquadx.com [current website name], and that fbsquads.com got deleted. Instead I think the scanlation group simply changed their website name, I'm not positive though.)
The issue is: when you click on the novel filter, it's mainly manhwa adaptions of novels showing up, not the actual novels. I only see 2 literal novel translations that are still up.
^^ My assumptions are: since free novel translations get a crackdown/deletion on certain novels and websites because official translations come out, this is why I can't find the scanlation's novel translation for DTR anywhere on their novel filter, only their translation of the DTR manhwa adaption.
More Info: I obtained that dead link of the Portuguese scanlation's DTR translation because someone made a post in the novelupdates forum awhile back in 2024 about the whereabouts of the DTR novel translation (forum post link: https://www.novelupdatesforum.com/threads/define-the-relationship.175793/ ).
^^ I don't know when people's fan translations of DTR got deleted. But based on the fact that forum post was in 2024 + on novelupdates the only link to the english translation now is the official one (not free) and was posted in 2024, then there's a possibility DTR fan translations got deleted in 2024 too, lol. I'm also assuming that people made novel DTR fan translations in the past before 2024 because a novelupdates 2022 review for DTR says, "Thank you for translating it" (someone help me confirm abt the deletion of DTR novel fan translations, I've never bothered to read the novel until 2026).
Conclusion: You can't enter this link to their DTR Portuguese translation: https://fbsquads.com/manga/define-the-relationsip/ is because they removed their translation on their website, fbsquadx.com. Considering how it's a dead link, the only way to actually enter it is by pasting it into the wayback machine. With that, you can use any archived url of their translated chapters to access the past of when it wasn't deleted yet.

i’m also thinking of making my own eng translation of the DTR novel with the dead link I gave and sending yall the google drive but…that would be my first time translating lol… so i hope some translator out there sees this… otherwise we doomed……….

ik many of ygs want an eng novel translation, sadly the wattpad one got deleted and other translations for DTR on novelupdates disappeared.

^^BUT, I’m pretty sure their novel scanlations site got deleted or smt idk because I can’t enter, only their manhwa scanlation site works. FYI there’s a million ads lol
I found a solution to enter their deleted DTR novel scanlation page but it’s definitely a long process: use the wayback machine website and copynpaste the link there. Go to the URLs section and all you have to do is find the most recent URL posted to get to the earliest translated chapter.
From there I think it’s smooth sailing. Although sometimes when you try to go to a past/future chapter, wayback machine doesn’t allow you to b/c they haven’t archived those yet (i usually only see that issue in the earliest chapters).
I don’t have any tips on re-translating the portuguese into english, reddit has many translation app options for ygs to choose from though.
I spent like 3 hours trying to find a free translation for the DTR novel with internet archives & the wayback machine, but it’s pretty late at night rn, so I’ll update ygs if I find an actual english translation soon.
