Honestly it's not bad but old readers don't like it anymore cuz it's been going on for years. And pls don't listen to the person saying rashta is tragic, she had 100+ opportunities to make her life better but she wasted that by digging her own grave. u'll understand how she is only if u read it....if u want to that is.
I'd also like to add that i don't participate like the mc and ml as well. When I first read this story back in 2018 I was veryyy young so I liked them a lot lol. Looking back now they also had their bad moments. But honestly pple who love rashta do villanise them a lot more than they deserve. The mc is not flawless. But some of her flaws do tend to give the impression of being "overbearing just cuz she's rich". It's not a bad story just too much drama. And going on for 8+ years is just crazy
honestly, im a few chapters in and i dont like anyone - flat character development, dull schemes portrayed as plot progress and just illogical and wrong portrayal of court etiquette in general. the drama doesn't make any sense and therefore doesn't create suspense. reading this is exhausting and tiresome so far, so ive given up already

the emperor and the mistress are so annoying, like have they ever heard of etiquette and court manners? for them to behave like that is so childish and actually ahistorical, there would/should be consequences
