Yeah... I mean I'm always understanding about how some mahwa placed in olden times will have an age gap troupe to make it realistic, but usually they just make the characters avoid each other and be awkward until they're both grown up and then fall in love or smth
Everytime the kid was saying "my beloved" I was screaming
Couldn't the black haired guy ask him to call him by his name or smth... or at least something more explicitly showing that he saw the guy as a kid would've calmed me ...
Sorry for the rant lol!!! I'm still gonna read this, it just felt weird
I totally understand! In the beginning I was also like: Please don't. But if I think about the historical circumstances hard enough it helps a bit (also the fact that Tei is trying to be a shield and kinda a big brother at first)
If it helps, if you start cringing too much, just imagine what it would've been like. Traded for a countys safety and being a child emperor (helped me) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
From my prospective I didnt see any romantic attraction from Tei towards Shuraka when he was a child only adoration. While Shuraka i feel had (and has) a childlike crush on Tei. I think Tei also sees the situation as a way to help him feel better rather than something hes wanting. The age gap is uncomfortable but I think since Shuraka is most likely 24-25 (i think he is because its 12 years after Tei left in which Shuraka was probably 14-15). I completely understand the uncomfy feelings! but this just is how I see it and I like the characters a lot lol

Is anyone else kinda freaked out about the ages
I'm screaming every panel cause I remember he was a kid like 3 chapters ago
