I have never been lost with a plot before but I am seriously so lost with this one.. ┗...

here’s what i understand or my understanding so far:

our mc, Incheol, is basically an assistant for a major politician, i think she’s the mayor or something. this mayor wants to undergo an industrial plan and rebuild a lot of old buildings into new ones. this gym is her next project, but she can’t jsut tear it down because that’s unconstitutional and would anger people, so she needs approval to tear it down, so she sends her assistant to get the approval.

Incheol is now in charge of getting that permission. we also know he basically does anything the mayor asks, and is battling for the main assistant with the other guy (i forgot his name hes assistant 2) Incheol learns he’s kinda being set up or is realizing this, as assistant 2 and mayor are being shady. the recent chapter, Incheol learns how this random kid got the gym- he was set up by the mayor a few years ago and got permission from the kids mom and she got a heart attack, maybe from stress. the mayor knew about this and knew her kid is now in charge of the gym and is telling incheol to fix his mistakes ( despite it being her fault since she needed the permission and sent him to do it).

this leads to Pyeong-hwa, the kid who owns the gym. his mother died a while ago and his father presumably did as well, so he’s in charge of the gym. Pyeong-hwa uses the gym for his gambling matches, which earns a lot of money but also his way of relieving stress- he gets beat up for his satisfaction. this is also when he meets Incheol, as he’s asking for Pyeong hwas permission for the gym to tear it down- which he’s refusing to give. also, pyeong hwa is attracted to Incheol, which is why he purposes trading his body for the gym or something, Incheol agrees because he’s desperate for the mayors approval.

that’s kinda where the stories at rn i think, we’re learning more about the backstories and how exactly pyeong hwa got the gym (there’s some police guy involved) and how exactly Incheol is being used by the mayor and the extremes of it- which Incheol will probably realize on his own soon. we’re also seeing the two kinda form this strange relationship and how it will progress, assuming incheol feels guilt for the moms death and will somehow change his relationship with Pyeong Hwa

The mother wasn't even aware her kid gave incheol the seal so how could she js collapse right after meeting him it doesn't sit right with me I DONT UNDERSTAND PLEASE WILL U EXPLAIN FOR ME THE RECENT CH ONE MORE TIME?

the mother gave incheol the seal herself, he hadn’t met Pyeong Hwa yet. she had a heart attack right after, maybe from stress from giving up her property, so Incheol feels guilty. he tried to go to the funeral to pay respects as well, but the mayor told him not to because he did enough, kinda blaming him for it and increasing his guilt. Incheol just realized that woman was Pyeong Hwas mother after digging more about Pyeong Hwa, and also learned that the mayor and assistant 2 knew that Pyeong Hwa was the son of the mother who died in front of Incheol. So now Incheol feels more guilty for also doing the same thing to the woman’s son caused by his loyalty for the mayor and realizes he was set up as the mayor deceived him by not telling Incheol who Pyeong Hwas mother was.
