Personally I see him as selfish/greedy. He still wishes to see Ellen despite knowing what the royal family has done in the past when it has been made very clear they will not forgive him. And still continues to try and touch her when he knows he's a physical danger to her. He first approached her out of curiosity and knowing she's a spirit not cuz she's cute.
Why do so many people hate the prince? He seems nice and caring. I don't mind it if he's ML.
