That's a bit dark lol. All dragons work under the same God. So it's not that they all at war with each other. It's just competition amongs them. The real enemy of the plot hasn't been reveal yet.

I just know that the white dragon infiltrated the black tower, saw this greedy dude and was like "perfect". Then found the perfect tool to bring hell to the black tower to either get back at the black dragon or take over the tower.
Or both.
And the grandfather is too centered on war and hotheaded to notice
