I don’t mean to be so critical…

I genuinely don’t want to come off as ungrateful or too critical but, this storyline was so boring. It’s like I know I’m supposed to care about the uke but they give me nothing to care about. The seme’s are supposedly obsessed with uke & though someone’s obsession should not just be defined by one thing it genuinely doesn’t make sense that a kid giving you a Pokémon card at your lowest (which also didn’t really get my heart strings jump) is what had you following him around after you was present for his parents murder. Oh, and the other seme who also was supposed to be obsessed with the uke gave up so, no, too quickly! Like what was even the point of him. I think the author just wanted to do a love triangle & threw him in there.

Anyways back to the uke, I know this may come off insane but he didn’t really sit in his suffering enough for me to really care about what happened to him. Example, he was raised by the guy that called in the hit of his parents (and himself) yet the moment he finds out he kills the dude & sets the gun on himself however the seme just sweeps in & save him. Also, he doesn’t get depressed over this or goes crazy no he just gets to fucking the seme over & over again. Or the BIGGEST example is when towards the climax of this manga he shoots himself in the face— the literal next chapter he had a bandage on it, then the next chapter after it there is no scar. Wtf?! I literally laughed because yeah that exactly how a gun wound is supposed to happen. Oh, and again does he have any trauma from it? NO, he just ask the seme to never abandon him & then fuck.

I will say I was interested with the special chapter & the blonde seme with his assistant— they had my interest peaked more than all 50+ chapters, which is insane to say. I’m not even gonna hold you, usually times when a storyline sucks so badly the smut comes in to save it, and not saying the smut wasn’t good, but I guess because I couldn’t necessarily care for the characters, I genuinely wasn’t even happy to see the smut. I would literally just try to scroll through it, which is half, if not majority of this story. Idk, I don’t understand why I didn’t just drop this manga but maybe it was like once you got on the ride you couldn’t get off, more so because it was completed & I was just waiting to care. All I know is if it wasn’t completed & I had to wait for chapters it would have easily been forgotten.

I’m so sorry for being so harsh because it’s not like I’m over here making stories or drawing art for other ppl to read. So I know I probably couldn’t do any better but for the creator they definitely have potential, the art is really nice & the story itself was like a quick read even with it being 50+ chapters, so it’s nice that it wasn’t dragged out for like some money-grab situation that a lot of authors tend to do. Overall I’d give this manga a 5/5, just because I was able to get through it, like I said I can usually drop things I’m not interested in so at some point I must have cared enough to finish it.
