Exactly, tbh Maria is the only name I remembered and I’ve read this for years, but the kids seem like they have the other parents hair color and even look more similar to them.
he even calls the detective guy father & i thought it was a scene change/cut of sorts til i saw the actual other dad be w/ the other investigator OMFG crazy twist i won’t even lie
