He’s regarding his trauma responses as flaws in himself. It’s not his fault. And talking about it is literally the path to build trust between people. He just doesn’t know that because he’s never had that. Understanding can be the greatest gift even though he is showing more of his scars then he seems ready to. I’m surprised with all these concerns about Espers physical capabilities they would put more effort into mental health.
