Say his name

For some of my American friends, Imma bout to blow your mind.
"Ilay" is pronounced as "Eli" like the short form of Elijah, it's just the German spelling.
So, yeah. His name is "Eli" not "Eye-lay."

I always like to check the pronunciation of unfamiliar character names before I start reading something so thankfully I was aware of this Unfortunately I don't think the author/production team for this story are, in the audiobook they always pronounce his name like ee-lay

Ah they cut off my comment, but I always wondered if I should pronounce his name the way the author intended for it to be instead. Since the English transcription came later and was likely done by the translators, I think the way it's written originally in Korean might not reflect that. The kr version might be more accurate to the "incorrect" pronunciation.

I never in my life heard someone pronounce "Ilay" as anything but "Eli" so now I'm having a good laugh imagining people saying "eye-lay", thank you lol
