At first, I really wanted Nino to end up with Yuzu. It just felt right. But as the story went on, I realized that the ending with Momo actually made way more sense. From the beginning, Nino wanted to sing for the man she loved, not just out of loyalty, but out of real faithfulness. That stayed consistent throughout her character and made her feel genuine.
What I loved most was how her reason for singing slowly changed. It was not just about being heard by Momo anymore. It became about her love for music itself. By the end, she was not singing just to find her man. She was singing because it was who she truly what she wants and she wants her song to be heard by everyone, to resonate with them and make them love their music.
As for Yuzu, losing his voice but falling in love with Nino, despite the unrequited love was kind of poetic. But his journey was not really about her in the end. It was about him finding his voice again and discovering where he truly belongs. That is why them staying best friends felt better than a romance.
Their relationship proved that love and motivation do not always have to come from being lovers. Sometimes, the people who matter most are the ones who grow with you, push you forward, and stay by your side through everything.
I just wished in the end, Yuzu also found another loved one though cause he is too loveable and deserved a wife tooooo!! huh
