He did not have a normal childhood. Its a trauma response. Also abandonment issues, trust issues. Disgust with himself, feelings of inferiority. Honestly him running away and leaving everything behind is and adequate response to what he feels
Yea why would you run away after everything your father did to someone who you LOVE. LIKE after all those things happen he still loves you to death. Makes no sense to me.
