What's so annoying about it too is that they treated him like shit for just being born when the Dad was the one who cheated. He can't take accountability for his shitty decisions so he takes it out on his son he had from his affair. And he used him as a replacement because his "real" son was not born yet.
Like dude, YOU ARE THE ASSHOLE HERE!!! If he had just treated him like a person and not a pebble in your shoe none of this shit would've happened and he wouldn't have lost Hugo for years.
Like the whole family is scum and they deserve a reckoning, but I know they probably won't get one...
I don't even blame Ethan for becoming bad at this point. They raised him to be the way he is today, practically forcing him to hate Hugo, the one he once saw as his little brother.
They raised Hugo to be bad as much but on totally different level. Hugo was spoiled rotten while Ethan was abused.
Worst thing is Ethan will never receive justice for neglect and abuse he faced. Instead he will be most likely disowned, killed or put in prison for the wrong doings he did caused by unfair favouritism and abused he grew in.
Hugo will never pay for deceiving Flin and will never learn how to be a green flag.
Hugo's mother will never be punished for treating Flin as worthless blood bag and Ethan's father will never realise how much he hurt his own son.
That's such a tragedy...
