He does find out (forgot how), but he's happy that he found her, angry that she lied, and still loves her nonetheless. Paula has an inferiority complex and, considering their status, she has a hard time accepting him at first. I'm sorry I can't go into much detail as I forgot. I think they slept together too... my memory is kinda fragmented. Oh, and the sister, the sister is gonna piss you off even more as she tries to impersonate Paula, but what's her name (the little kids mom) visits and clears it up.

Vincent get the suspicious when paula read the book to robert. He kinda recognized her voice but not sure. Since the novel only has paula POV we didn’t get to know how vincent POV but he always talks to paula, give paula candy and told her to eat it if she ever feels sad or crying. He almost find out when previous maid come to the mansion and called her real name in front of vincent and her sister. At that time, her sister claim she is paula and cry in vincent arm but vincent just stunned and look at paula. Vincent then confirmed it again by asking the sister what color if the flower in the flower field they used to go and the sister said yellow and he just smile. Later, there is murder in the mansion and paula run away at night and she encounters vincent at their usual place and Vincent said ‘i know you would come’ and she asked how he know it’s her and here we know vincent pov he said he had suspicions when she read robert the story.
