LOTS of unnecessary abuse and SA
Yeah because it is about awful people, violence, abuse and SA is the whole deal with this manga. A lot of BL mangas that are supposed to be about normal everyday people have SA but still get high ratings. That’s why I don’t get it
Name one good thing other than the art.
I like storytelling and I think all the violence is taken seriously - it is not brushed over or suddenly okay. It also doesn’t come out of nowhere- the first scene is literally the MC brutally torturing a guy. It is established very early in the story that the main characters are kind of insane (and they are not good people) and that is why they are acting like that(which is not an excuse, just reasoning behind their behaviors). Also neither of them is a pushover and I like that.
I’m not saying it’s badly written. I’m saying the themes are graphic to the point of being uncomfortable. Believe it or not, some people don’t enjoy manipulation and abuse.
Okay I get that. But for me giving this kind of manga a bad review only because of violence is like giving killing stalking a bad review for all the killing and stalking
I did in fact, because I couldn’t stomach killing stalking. Actually, I’m only reading this out of loyalty to Pearl Boy, also I’m a sucker for redemption arcs.
Why does this have such a low rating?
