Okay, what if Little A was also technically an experiment, like one of the first and only successful ones that was originally an animal, like maybe a dog, and turned human.
From there, they wanted to experiment with turning humans to animals, but shit went sideways and now G, who was maybe one of the doctors on that project decided that "Fuck that shit, I'm helping these folk" and is now actively trying to cure them.
Maybe that's why little A gets along with most. If not all, of them and would explain why he loves all animals.
Also, perhaps THATS what he found out in the box, information about him being an experiment. UT would help explain why his parents, who maybe couldn't have children, left.
