It is a Bl , and if u are looking for some romance its gonna take a long time lol . Calling it a shounen ai wouldn't be wrong either bc this one focuses in the story more thn romance .
I feel like the pacing of the romance is actually pretty standard for a story like this one. It’s definitely a slow burn (which 38 chapters in and some minor flirting is light work compared to some other slow burns I’ve read)
I figured it was a slow burn, but goddamn! However after digging around there's 200+ chapters to adapt into a manhwa and things don't take off until 100 or so. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
they get slightly more touchy feely and full of yearning further into the story but yeah this isn’t a quick paced smut-filled story, you just have to go along with the plot for now or just wait a bit, but it is an actual BL! It’s not just two bros with gay tension that doesn’t go anywhere lol, hate when authors do that
If you think this is a slow burn shounen ai, I’m assuming you haven’t read Monochrome Rumor. I think their first kiss was in chapter 107!! That story is the epitome of slow burn but I am loving it anyway.
I could be alone in this, but this hardly feels like a BL. I've seen lesser shounen-ai with more romantic tension and gestures than this.
