(im just so tired of the trope where the father can never fucking show actual obvious affection. and the cases where he isn't so, is only for his daughter. for example, i have read plenty isekai manhwas where the dad is all stoic but then develops a soft spot for the fmc (his daughter). but then, he's fucking still the same with his sons, like do they not deserve affection? what the fuck is this weird oedipus complex these people have going on?? lol sorry for the rant)

i have read tons of stuff with a father-daughter, mother-son, mother-daughter relationship as a main focus of the story.
It's nice and all but I want one where a father-son relationship is explored and it's actually loving and healthy. And none of the grim dad but internally cares for him stuff. I want an actual loving dad who shows affection and it's for a son, not a daughter.
Any genre works, just the dynamic should be a main focus, not a vague sideplot. isekai, romance, thriller, action, shoujo, shounen, anything idc. just good :)
