There was never a disease that made you have animal features, that was the scientists doing as we can see he did it for the kid. NCP might actually be a robot or they just decided that blood from killing someone is too gory.
Now with the uncle, I actually believe that little A abducted the uncle, then returned to the farm with only memories of the uncle saying he can stay on the farm, because we see when he is talking with NCP that he can't really say exactly what the Uncle told him.
Oh! And also, maybe we are seeing the blood blue because that's the way little a sees it. Maybe he is designed to see only good things?
