I think he made his sister the bad guy so he could take back some semblance of control in his life, since he couln’t fight back against the abuse their cousin out him through. In the end, he was just a misguided kid who took all his emotions out on the one thing he could control, or at least something that wasn’t going to hurt him. It was wrong, but it was a coping mechanism from all the trauma he’d been put through.
I know it's not his fault but I think he is old enough to understand especially since he remembers everything that happened when they were living with their aunt that she was the one who suffered the most. and not him blaming her when he didn't even try to talk to her and he preferred hating his sister who accidently hit him once over the cousin who obssesed over him??? bruhhh he is so annoyinggggg
