that's not how it works,,,, when you grew up with that kind of upbringing, u will literally bring it until adulthood now unless the mc gets a professional mental help, how he think and process things would not be easily changed. It literally took me years to unlearn all my bad upbringing and is still is in the process of that.

Why would he need the ml's forgiveness? they were both young, both immature and indecisive, they both wronged each other. And also the ml is not some douchebag to blame the mc for what happened to his life
