Read the fucking book
I mean, I get you, but still, Jiang Cheng doesn't have that much "screen time", the books are about Wei Ying and Lan Zhan, and the story is fckn fantastic, totally worth it. Give yourself this treat.
And don't think of JC as the enemy, he's traumatized and mentally ill. His father neglected him and his mom filled his head with shit about him loosing his birth right and stuff. He honestly believed he had a right to be by WW side, and that he would be by his side his whole life. He lost his golden core for him. He always believed that WW was better than him. I'm not excusing his behavior but he just has issues. Think of him as a mentally ill cousin.
Hi, Jiang Cheng really has not much screen time. Also, it's probably better to read the novel as it has better depiction of their characters.
This is one of my favorites — good plot twist, great characters, Wei Ying is so charming, Lan Zhan is green flag husband material. This novel/manhua/live adaptation made me laugh, cry, laugh and cry again, and love all characters (except Xue Yang ang Meng Yao u evil bishes).
I esp love Wei Ying because of his wits and personality.
I also recommend the LA (The Untamed) as Xiao Zhan & Wang Yibo gave life to our cp, and it's available on Youtube.
However, The Untamed made changes to the story & it became bromanve at most lol. JC is also there has better rs with Wei Ying.
I reco read the novel first before the LA. There may be significant differences but I love both
Guys sorry but can you please Convince me to read this? I know its a classic danmei and extremely popular and thats maybe why I had become aware of too much spoilers going around, but I just can’t continue because I can’t stomach Jiang Cheng, I know I haven’t read this so i have no right to judge but i just felt that he is so unreasonable to hate wei wuxia that much? Like I stopped at the flashbacks when they are in school then i stopped so I don’t know, but I just don’t like his vibes that’s why I dropped it. Please prove me wrong
