the relationship nain has with amon is toxic and harming nain in many ways but mostly mentally as we've seen so far. he loves amon yes but he mostly fears and tolerates him. amon is brutal and beyond indifferent to the lives of mortal or any other living beings. he's definitely aware of how nain feels yet he doesn't change and nain keeps clinging onto the hope that maybe he will eventually. i personally wish nain could be freed of amon but that is impossible so instead i hope amon learns to respect and accept how nain truly feels. to be loved right is to be seen and understood.
