It would be really weird if it has romance considering the MC is a tentacle alien who is controlling a corpse. Unless the author has some necrophilia thing then it wouldn't happen

It used to be a corpse but he revived it. It's a living thing now. Like any other person. It only feels like it's still a corpse sometimes cause he hasn't fully synced with the new body

I once remember reading in the novel that the reason why his body is unnaturally pale is due to it being a corpse or maybe I remember it wrong?
