Same, I thought it was going to be a sweet badass mom with her adorable daughter fighting the corruption of the church since they made it seem that way, but no it mostly focuses on the romance between mc between the knight and the prince, and the sad thing is that of course the female mc HAS to have a love interest because she's a girl I decided to read the latest chapter and the romance shit is STILL going

I don’t want to come off as rude or disrespectful to people who enjoy romance and love stories—that’s totally fine. But honestly, I wanted a badass mom story about Lucia and her daughter, not a romance taking over scenes that should’ve been about them. If there was going to be romance, it should have stayed in the background, not overshadow the mother-daughter moments—which is exactly what happened and why it bothered me.
