i think that even though hes lowkey an idiot and probably didnt realize the full extent of what was happening, he definitely knew his dad was molly-whopping Cesare and that something was a least a little bit off with Ruby. and hes generally young, and once again an idiot, so he probably tried to distance himself as much as possible bc he thought it wasnt that serious and that he couldnt do anything else
just cause we've seen that he at least cares about Ruby and how he generally has no thoughts going on up there
maybe I’m giving him too much credit, but imo he doesn’t really seem all too dumb to me. he strikes me more as the impulsive n carefree type, But I suppose you could argue that such qualities make you, or mean you’re a “dumb person.”
I definitely think he knew too tho. My guess is he didn’t know how to confront his father on what he does to cesare and was also afraid of becoming his next target so he just chose to safely “punish” n “hurt” his father by causing trouble around town hoping that these inconveniences would distract him enough to lay off on Cesar. But I doubt Enzo was written with that much depth. He just feels like a throwaway character to me which is such a waste. I think he could be sumn interesting if anyone tried

I figured he must’ve had some depth to him since there were reasons he always chose to leave home despite being the most doted child, but we barely learned a thing about him n now’s he’s suddenly dying. Hate to say it but Idrc, we didn’t get to know him at all. I’m worried the author will info dump his backstory onto us just before he dies to squeeze out some pity from the readers and to leave any sort of “deep” impression, no matter how lazy or cheap.
